Even if you've never done a bird survey, we can use your help.

If you’re just getting interested in birds, we can really use your help finding nests. Keep your eyes open for nests in the city. Every nest observation for every species counts! Send us an email and we’ll keep you posted on how to record and register your sightings.

There are opportunities for birders and non-birders alike.

If you’ve done point counts before and you’d like to do more, then send us an email.  Put some of those finely honed, point count skills to good use! If you’re a keen birder and/or you’ve helped out with the Atlas, the Christmas Bird Count, the Fall Count, or any of the other regular counts you'll enjoy adopting a pair of census plots. If you have a friend who's more experienced or you know someone who'd like to improve their bird skills, team up and adopt a group of survey plots that you can do together.
